Hey all, Theres a post on both SAU and Antilag about this already but i thought id let you silvia owners, who may not have seen those threads yet, in on the good news Garrett (America) have just recently released a new range of GTX turbos which will superceed many GT turbos so long as they pull their weight as garrett claim. Theres quite a few models but the ones that would interest silvia owners would propably be the following 3: GTX3071r Interestingly enough the GTX3071r looks like it can flow almost as much a GT3076 but come on boost as early as a GT3071 meaning it could yield a very responsive 400hp. GTX3076r According to the compressor map the GTX3076 will flow almost as much as the GT3582r BUT with better response than a GT3076r. Should take an SR over the 400hp mark with full boost comming on at aroound 4500rpm GTX3582r Probably abit big for 95% of people running SR s on the street but ill link it anyway According to the compressor map, the new gtx35r outflows a TO4Z. As amazing as all this sounds, especially for all you people with forged SR s out there, i wont believe it till i see it These new turbos shall make things quite interesting Enjoy

The question is, can you get a Twin Scroll GTX3076R and how much will it cost? lol

Ofcourse, but garret do not make twin scroll rear housings for these, well...... i cannot get garrett to supply me one anyways You need to track another brand of twin scroll rear housing to suit the turbine, bolt it on, use a true twin scroll manifold and away you go, GTX twin scroll edit: and as for the price if found 2 dealers in the US who you can order them from right now but id imagine supply would be extremely difficult to uphold as the demand will be very high some links to prices below:

I Just frothed. Also those turbos are rated at higher output I suspect the pricing to follow. =( Someone buy this turbo/s and do back to back testing kthx. Yea twin scroll manifold Fullrace/6boob/powertune?

Rough price is around 1800 US for a complete gtx3071 and gtx3076 the gtx3582r is a big jump in price at a hefty 2200 US not too bad considering AUS dollar is 1 to 1 with US now

Id try to convince you to go for a gtx3071 as the tiny loss in response for a comfy 380hp + is so hard to look past but i realise its a big jump from a t28 style setup, new mani, lines etc so i wont

Here is some pricing: They use the same rear housing as the GT range, but yes they dont come with it. I ll find out how much they cost to get them in Aus, anyone keen??
